Bulleted lists are a great way to focus attention, simplify writing, and add emphasis. When writing for the Web, a list makes the page easier to read and helps with Search Engine Optimization. But there are a few rules to keep in mind.
- It is generally accepted to capitalize the first word in the list.
- Be consistent with periods.
- Use periods to complete a sentence.
- Do not use periods in lists.
- Do not use a comma or a semi colon at the end.

- Arrive at noon;
- Present the project; and
- Provide a survey.
SHOULD BE:

- Arrive at noon.
- Present the project.

Example Two:
Items on the menu include:
- Soup
- Salad
