Private Strategy Intensive
A Full Day to Dig Deep, Make Decisions, and Create a Clear Strategy
Let’s dig in…
You have a project, idea, or challenge that deserves your full attention.
Maybe you’re rethinking your website and need to work through the structure and messaging before anyone starts writing. You’re developing a new program or service and need to get the positioning and pricing right. You want to create a media strategy. Or perhaps that business book you’ve been thinking about is finally ready to take shape.
A Private Strategy Day gives us the time and space to dig in.
For one focused day, we’ll step away from the day-to-day demands of your business and concentrate on the project you’ve brought to the table. We’ll ask the questions, explore the possibilities, make decisions, and map out a clear direction for moving forward.
This isn’t a day of talking about what you could do. It’s a day for figuring out what you’re going to do – and how.
After my day with Susan, I was able to create my website and sell my first package within days. She took what felt difficult and explained it in a way that truly resonated with me and with my clients.
What Could We Work on During Your Private Strategy Intensive?
- Website Strategy & Messaging: Map out the structure and flow of your website, clarify your core messages, determine what belongs on each page, and identify where your current copy or positioning needs to change.
- Services & Program Positioning: Develop or refine a new service, program, or offer so it fits naturally within your business and is priced, positioned, and communicated clearly to the people you want to reach.
- Publicity & Media Strategy: Uncover newsworthy story angles, explore media opportunities and develop a strategic approach for getting your business or organization noticed.
- Book Strategy: Turn the book you’ve been thinking about into something tangible. We can clarify its purpose and audience, develop the concept and outline, and explore how you’ll position and promote it as part of your business.
- Marketing & Communications: Step back and look at the bigger picture – your messaging, marketing materials, content and communications – and determine what needs attention, what can go, and where your efforts will have the greatest impact.
- Your Big Idea or Challenge: Have something else that’s been circling in your head? Bring it. We’ll pull it apart, ask the right questions, explore the possibilities and turn it into a clear direction and plan.
By the end of the day, you’ll have made decisions, clarified your direction, and developed a practical strategy for the project or challenge we’ve tackled together. Depending on what we’re working on, that might include key messages, website structure, pricing, positioning, a media plan, a book outline, or a clear roadmap for what happens next.
Imagine what you could accomplish with an entire day devoted to one important project, idea, or challenge.
Your Private Strategy Intensive includes:
- A private one-on-one strategy day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. focused entirely on your project, idea, or challenge.
- A 30-minute preparation call before your Strategy Day to clarify what you want to accomplish and determine where we’ll focus our time.
- Pre-day preparation designed to help us make the most of our time together.
- Customized resources such as handouts, checklists, templates, or other tools relevant to what we’re working on.
- Lunch, coffee/tea, and snacks so we can stay focused and make the most of our day together.
Private Strategy Intensives are typically held in person at my location in St. Joseph, Ontario, between Grand Bend and Bayfield on the shores of Lake Huron. Other arrangements may be available when appropriate.
Ready to Give Your Idea the Attention It Deserves?
You don’t have to have all the answers before we begin. Bring me the idea, project, or challenge, and we’ll spend the day working through it together.
If a Private Strategy Intensive sounds like what you need, let’s talk.
